HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF — Subchondral Solutions, Inc, a medical device company based in Huntington Beach, Calif., has named Jordan Peana director of sales effective immediately.

Cleared by the FDA in 2020, the S-Core platform technology™ is indicated for fixation of small bone fragments, such as osteochondral fragments and cancellous fragments, appropriate for the size of the device which may include the following: simple metaphyseal fractures; condylar fractures; osteochondritis dissecans; areas where accurate screw placement is vital; patellar fractures, navicular fractures, cancellous bone fragments; osteochondral fragments, intra-articular fractures and osteochondral fixation and fractures, and minimally invasive reconstruction of fractures and joints. S-Core™ can be used in any osteochondral fracture appropriate for the size of the device, including for the knee, elbow, hand, foot, ankle, shoulder, and hip.
Peana’s most recent position was as a regional sales manager for Gamma Sports. He has held multiple positions in the sports industry and is a United States Professional Tennis Association-certified teaching professional. He received a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering/management science from the University of California, San Diego.
Peana’s most recent position was as an Extremities Lead for Arthrex Medical. He has completed extensive training in orthobiologics and joint preservation procedures as well as observed over 5000 orthopedic and sports medicine surgeries from some of the top surgeons in the Southern California region. A smart competitive individual who comes from 20 years of high-level tennis including collegiate and professional. Striving to make a difference with a product that will help surgeons improve their patient outcomes.
“My focus is on generating markets for our platform of joint damage restorative technology using bio-active implants that maximize bone and biologic healing,” adds Peana. “I look forward to the future as we add larger diameters that allow us to expand to all joints needing repair.”
