Costa Mesa, CA, June 16th, 2023—Subchondral Solutions, Inc. has been selected to exhibit S-Core® Joint Preservation Platform, which provides a secure structural repair of the underlying subchondral bone along with a platform for a soft tissue allograft augmentation for a “time zero” functional repair that allows the patient to return to activity quickly, at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange. Vizient, Inc, the nation’s largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company, will hold the Exchange on Oct. 3 in Grapevine, Texas.
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their product or service to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient’s member hospitals and subject matter experts who serve on their supply councils. Each product or service will showcase how it improves clinical outcomes, enhances safety or drives incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models.
The surgical treatments for Osteoarthritis and Osteochondral Disease have largely been focused on the cartilage and have ignored treating the underlying subchondral bone. If the subchondral bone is compromised due to edema or trabecular fractures, the repair to the cartilage will be less than optimal. S-Core® decompresses the bone, relieving pain and allows for the metabolic communication to resume to help accelerate the remodeling of the bone to provide a functional repair at time “zero”.
