Subchondral Solutions Partners with Lovell Government Services
Subchondral’s S-Core Platform System Approved for physician use in all facilities
Subchondral Solutions, Inc., an orthopedic medical device company based in Huntington Beach, Calif., is proud to announce its partnership with Lovell Government Services, one of 2020’s fastest-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). This partnership opens the door for U.S. Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs Medical Facilities to purchase Subchondral’s innovative S-Core® delivery platform for subchondral bone damage through a federal contract.
“Veterans at one time in their lives gave their very best for all of us and it’s our turn to do our part to ensure those same veterans have access to the most innovative resources available,” said Chris Lovell, Major, USMC (Ret.) and CEO, Lovell Government Services.
“With this partnership, federal, state, and local government agencies who procure their medical-surgical supplies through the GSA and DLA catalogs will be able to access Subchondral Solutions’ cutting-edge S-Core® implant and delivery systems.”
Cleared by the FDA in 2020, the S-Core® delivery platform is indicated for the fixation of small bone fragments, and S-Core® can be used in any osteochondral fracture appropriate for the size of the device, including for the knee, elbow, hand, foot, ankle, and shoulder.
“We think that it is critical to provide the best surgical technology to veterans who have served our country,” said Thomas Kinder, CEO of Subchondral Solutions, Inc. “The risks they take on our behalf are many and include damage to their joints through trauma or simply over-use. S-Core® by Subchondral Solutions, Inc has been designed to get the soldier back to normal activity as soon as possible and to delay the onset of end-stage osteoarthritis which can become debilitating.”
